About Trainer

The magazine deals with issues affecting the training and development of the thoroughbred and is aimed at people involved in the day to day management of thoroughbreds. The magazine is neither a political or news title, its mission is to inform and educate readers with training developments and innovations which will help trainers train better.

The magazine is published on a quarterly basis - each spring, summer, fall and winter.

In December 2006, the magazine became the official magazine of the Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association and is available to their trainer members in the states of - New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Illinois and Maryland. Starting with the spring 2007 issue, the magazine became the official magazine of the California Thoroughbred Trainers Association and is distributed free of charge to trainers across California
